Popsicle Stick Craft Tutorial- White Picket Fence Make Up Box

Apr 4, 2012 by

I’m giving my make up area a complete make over. The hilarity of that sentence isn’t lost on me XD

Anyway part of the Home Sweet Home make over includes my vanity table, more of that in the actual post but today I’m showing you one of the little organisational containers I made to put on there.

My theme was white picket fencing and I made it from stuff I already had at home:

So let’s jump in!

Too cute! Mind you, I suspect you, and I, have so many lashes we’d need quite a few of those. My lashes are bustin outta fishermens tackle boxes, little bags, various cupboards…they really need to be sorted.

I’ve been looking for a cute basket like that for my nail polishes for ages!

I’ve checked out all the cheap stores around CBD but nothing is cute enough for me to fork out the cash!

This seems really easy and soooo cute! Especially the flowers between the fences!

    So cute!!

This is such a cute idea! I bought a GIGANTIC box of popsicle sticks a long time ago and I’ve been trying to find more projects to use them on!

That’s exactly how this started, I bought a pack for nail swatching and never used half of them!

Omigosh this is so adorable!! I haven’t thought about crafting with popsicle sticks for quite some years now, but now I’m thinking that maybe they ARE worth cranking out every now and then >_<
Looking forward to seeing the rest of your vanity ^_^

Completely agree, I haven’t touched them since primary school XD I bought some for nail swatches and I’ve been trying to think of a way to use them for ages!

I love this idea, Violet! I have so many little things, like makeup, jewelry, hair accessories… and nothing cute to hold them in! I’m currently using a Hello Kitty bowl and tray to hold my hair pieces and bracelets… but they aren’t working too well. I definitely want to try this out! It’s adorable and I like that the sides will actually hold things inside, instead of pouring out like mine do now! Lovely idea. :)

I’m so glad it was helpful, good luck making your own!
