Drawing ^_^
Not having the internet for so long gave me lots of time to do stuff I hadn’t done in a while… like drawing!
I used to be really into doing black and white charcoal portraits so I decided to give it another try. It’s not great but considering I haven’t done something like this for like 5 years I’m quite happy ^_^
I actually enjoyed doing it so much I’m thinking of doing a series of them or perhaps portraits of my favorite bloggers or something like that, what do you think?
I did quite a few drawings but I’ll just show you one more for now. It’s more of my regular style, frill and lace etc and done with pens and Copic markers.
I love doing pictures like this, they are really fun! This is totally something that would happen to me too XD

Especially love the detail you put in the makeup/eye in the first one :D I never tend to pay much attention to the actual eye because most of my pictures are small / full body rather than close ups :D But yeah, looking at your pictures makes me want to draw again ^-^!

I adore the second one as well! Love the element of geekiness to it…that she’s adjusting her shoe, losing the parasol…and the look on her face!! I also think those little diagonal swirls lend a nice touch of movement to the piece :)
I used to do 3 Unit Art myself and used to draw portraits but haven’t done so in aaages…seeing the Tim Burton exhibition really inspired me – you need to see it! (Not that you need inspiration, obviously)
I really need to get to the Tim Burton exhibition! I imagine though that when I go I’m not going to want to do anything for the next week except draw XD

Those are AMAZING! The parasol on the second picture looks absolutely amazing! I’ve always wanted to try Copic markers, but they’re so expensive! And that portrait is so real! Huzzah. So many exciting things happening today! :D
The first pic is so lovely and so Ageha, but omg the second picture LOL it just has such a fun air to it. I’m more the type who falls because I step on gum and then show my undies. But this is much classier :D
