Sushi Erasers with Susie

May 17, 2010 by

We had so much fun with our other “Cooking with Susie” sessions that we decided to give it one more episode: Sushi erasers with Susie :D

Because we’re moving, we’ve been trying to spend as much time with our friends up here before we have to say goodbye for a while.

What did we decide to cook? Sushi! Well not really sushi but erasers that are shaped like sushi in a a little kit thingy.

We bought the kit as a present for Susie while we were in Singapore so she brought it over to play with.

Sushi With Susie

Basically it’s a little box that comes with clay and molds and when you put them in the microwave it magically transforms them into erasers. You can read more about it here.

  1. Ohhh that’s so cute!

Too bad the instructions are in Japanese, otherwise I’d totally get a kit!

    Diana xx

    • I did find an English version online recently, if I find it again I’ll let you know :D

  2. We are actually really good at para para!!!!! don’t whine about the clay when you are good at EVERYthing else! especially para para. that day was oodles of fun, I can’t believe you are leaving so soon. I’m sitting here wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of tea complaining about the cold, I really can’t see me doing well in Melbourne.
ps I never noticed you poking your tongue out at me! but you can see how engrossed I am in that little sushi mold it’s not surprising.

    • You should see the real video, we totally don’t suck as much as I assumed! And damn it I’ll whine about what I want :P Oh you would totally do well in our spare room in Melbourne… we would just give you a heater! Mwhaha at tongue poking! I’m doing it again right now!

  3. whoa~ both of you really had fun with those crafts :P

  4. Hahaha I loved this story! It seems like you had a lot of fun, lol :D

  5. Those are super cute and I love your leopard print headbow :D

  6. I LOVE THOSE BOWS (your own and the one susie made you) AND THE ERASERS. THEY LOOK SO DAMN COOL. But I’d bet they are expensive though, even though I stay in Singapore. T_T

    • :D Thank you!! Susie made both of them and they are totally awesome! I bought the erasers from Kinokuniya in Orchard they were quite well priced compared to here ^_^

  7. I’ve seen those kits in the shops here, now that you posted a step-by-step I might try them!

  8. Ooooh this is so cute and the GIFS are priceless XD ♥

  9. CUTEEE ❤

  10. Kari

Haha aww…. those look so cute! And tasty >_>

  11. So cute! It looks like you had a blast! And your bow is adorable. So adorable!

  12. So cuuute! Tiny baby sushi <3

  13. I love the sushi, but I love the bows more!! They’re huge and fabulous! She needs to befriend ladies stateside for bow gifts, just sayin’ ^_~

    • Hahaha I’ll let her know! I think she’s going to start selling them soon, she’s so talented!

  14. I LOVE these!! I’m going to have to google where to find these online. My daughter made erasers from eraser clay (wasn’t a sushi kit like this), it was just free form like making things out of pladough, and she sold them at the school’s business enterprise market day. Was so fun, but the clay was really expensive, and cos we had to use a conventional oven, was hard to get the clay to set exactly right.

Microwave sounds soo much better! I must get these!

    • They are seriously awesome because when the erasers are done you can reuse the molds with sculpey :D It was super easy to do as well!

  15. Oh, just realised the lovely J-list sells them. Yay!

  16. SK

    Those sushi are so awesome!!!
Also great to see that your adsense (google) is up. :)

    • :D Finally up and running yay! I’m just waiting to cash out of adbrite then I’ll be done with them for good! Sushi for the win!

  17. ooh that kit is really cute

hi violet! them erasers look yummy! :) and you seem to have lost a lot of weight. :( are you on a diet or something?

    • They were lots of fun ^_^ Nope I haven’t lost any weight… I’ve been roughly the same petite weight all of my adult life :) I don’t diet and I don’t specifically work out I just do quite a bit of walking. Perhaps you’re confusing me with someone else?
