Dec 12, 2009 by

Writer__s_Block_by_chucksbitchI’ve had a lot of questions about the mechanics of blogging lately so I’ve decided to make a series of posts with tips on setting up your blogging space ^_^

awesome! mine is quite similar to yours although i’ve put it standing up the other way! :D still trying to find some nice laces or ribbons etc lying around the house but no luck yet so its rather empty at the mo

    • I can’t wait to see yours when it’s finished, it’s going to be so cute! Maybe a trip to Spotlight is in order for some cute laces?

    • Oh you so should! It’s perfect when you’re feeling a bit low and out of inspiration to have a look at all the things you love ^_^ I can’t wait to see pictures!

  4. Ohh, this is such a good idea!!!!

Very cute! Love the swans. :) BTW I’ve finally managed to write my congratulations email to you. So it’s taken so long.

    • The swans are my favorite too! They are from a brand called “Metamorphose”. Loved your email thank you!

am so tempted to add laces round the frames for mine now! :D thanks for the inspiration! (more like.. copy >.<)

what glue would work best if i dont hv a glue gun? would normal (& cheapo) super glue work just as well? :)

    • Haha no definitely inspiration XD I was inspired by yours! Ok best glue? Hmm, superglue would probably work but it would make the lace all hard and scratchy and possibly look odd. If you don’t have a glue gun then maybe go with cheapo pva glue or tacky glue, you know the white stuff that dries clear. You can get it from junk stores for like $2 a bottle.

Oh – I’ve been thinking about doing a pin board for AGES!!! Thank you Violet, time to get it sorted!

I love this, especially the lace and the little ribbons on the grid-points! My big theme is purple and roses, so I was thinking of doing with a purple fabric and having little bouquets in the corners? What do you think?

  11. It’s sooo cute <3
This is my version. It looks a little bit like yours ^^
